Jev trades text generation for typed decisions

TypeSafe’s Jev accepts unstructured input and returns decisions within a predefined output schema, together with probabilities. Instead of generating text token by token, it produces structured outputs in parallel. The intended uses include classification, routing and scoring inside software workflows. Guaranteed output types do not mean that every underlying decision is correct.

Why it matters

Useful to evaluate when an agent needs a bounded decision rather than another paragraph.

More context

Jev is in early access through a waitlist. The company describes reinforcement learning for calibrated decisions and publishes workflow evaluations. Compare its accuracy, calibration and latency on your own routing tasks before relying on the advertised speedups.

Keep in mind

Performance figures come from vendor-designed evaluations, partly referenced against other models. Schema validity is not a guarantee of factual accuracy or reliable business decisions.
