DeepSeek Harness experiments with delegating to local coding CLIs

DeepSeek Harness 0.2.2-alpha.2 adds an experimental plugin that delegates independent tasks to locally installed Codex or Claude command-line tools. Another experimental plugin exposes context use, cache behavior and time spent in models and tools. These additions let developers explore coordinating existing coding tools and inspect where a run spends resources, but both arrive in a prerelease rather than a stable integration.

Why it matters

The update offers a concrete way to investigate delegation and execution costs across coding tools.

More context

This is a follow-up to earlier Harness releases. Try the experimental subagent_oar plugin with an already configured local CLI and a narrowly scoped task; use the statistics plugin to inspect the resulting run.

Keep in mind

Alpha features can change, and the release notes do not establish reliability across CLI versions. Provider access, authentication and any usage charges need separate checking.
