Go refactorings can now ask what you want to change
Go’s language server can now ask follow-up questions before editing code: which struct tags to add, which naming style to use, or which interface a type should implement. Interactive refactoring works with gopls 0.24.0 and VS Code’s Go extension 0.56.0. The cross-editor protocol is still a proposal, and moving declarations between packages remains a preview rather than a shipped refactoring.

Why it matters
Explicit user input makes refactoring more precise than guessing intent from cursor position alone.
More context
Try the supported struct-tag and interface actions after updating both components. Neovim and Emacs integrations are proof-of-concept work; do not assume every LSP client already supports the dialogs.
Keep in mind
Protocol standardization and planned refactorings have different maturity from the working VS Code integration.
