JetKVM Mini puts remote console access in a smaller box

JetKVM Mini combines video capture and USB keyboard-and-mouse control in a compact device that exposes a computer’s console through a browser. Its firmware runs on an ESP32-P4X with hardware H.264 encoding rather than a Linux system with separate memory and storage. Ethernet and wireless variants target machines that need access even when their operating system is unresponsive.

Why it matters

Relevant to managing remote devices where SSH alone cannot recover a failed boot.

More context

The announcement specifies native 1080p capture and browser streaming over WebRTC, plus virtual media from a TF card. It lists October 26, 2026 availability. Watch for shipping hardware and independent recovery-workflow tests before adopting it for unattended systems.

Keep in mind

This is an announced product, not a device 1min has tested. Higher-resolution OS services depend on software running on the target and are distinct from native hardware capture.
