Mistral Large 4 opens an API preview for multimodal agent work

Mistral Large 4 combines instruction following, reasoning and multimodal input in one model. Its public preview API is available through Mistral Studio, while downloadable weights are promised for the end of the month. Mistral describes a trillion-parameter model with 49 billion active parameters, trained for work including coding, tool use and interpreting technical images.
