Zig templates turn missing fields into compiler errors
Lukáš Lalinský’s zt template library converts HTML-like templates into Zig during the build. Template parameters use application types, so misspelled fields and incorrect arguments fail compilation. Generated functions write directly to a writer; dynamic text and attributes are escaped, and URL attributes reject dangerous schemes. These defaults reduce common injection mistakes but do not make every template or application automatically secure.

Why it matters
An approachable example of using compile-time checking to improve server-rendered web development.
More context
Try the linked zt project in a small Zig application. The author’s standalone writer example has a cancellation-related error-handling caveat; read the linked discussion before copying that pattern. Dusty’s render wrapper handles the cited issue.
Keep in mind
This is the author’s newly introduced library, not a demonstrated compatibility or security guarantee across all Zig applications.
