DeepSeek Harness adds resumable SDK sessions and clearer interrupted tasks
DeepSeek Harness alpha.3 adds saved-session resume to its Python and TypeScript SDKs, preserving session IDs and working directories. Interrupted tasks now display a stopped status instead of appearing complete, and plugin updates no longer silently retain old code. This is still a prerelease. Headless execution also changes credential lookup to environment variables and .env files by default, so existing automation needs review.

Why it matters
The changes address continuity and honest task status, rather than merely adding another model option.
More context
Try the alpha in a test workspace with a configured supported model account or provider. Compare against alpha.2; check headless credentials and the renamed Azure provider before upgrading existing integrations.
Keep in mind
Message masking is a display feature, not proof that secrets were never transmitted; prerelease behavior can still change.
