Jev reaches Vercel AI Gateway with a decision API
Vercel has added TypeSafe AI’s Jev to AI Gateway through an experimental evaluation API. Applications send shared state and named questions, then receive typed choices, scores or boolean answers with probabilities. This gives developers an integration path for decisions such as tool routing or review escalation without treating the model as a text-generating chatbot.

More context
The September 16 integration uses AI SDK 7.0.105 or later, an authenticated AI Gateway setup and the typesafe-ai/jev model identifier. Try it on labeled routing examples, checking decision quality and calibration before automating actions. This adds an access path beyond the early-access launch previously covered by 1min.

The evaluate API is experimental. Gateway access and usage costs apply; 1min has not tested the integration. Vendor speed comparisons do not establish performance on your workflow, and valid output types do not guarantee correct decisions.
