NemoClaw assembles agent components around a separate policy runtime
NVIDIA’s NemoClaw blueprints combine a supported coding or personal-agent harness with models, observability tools and the OpenShell policy runtime. The harness still manages planning, tools and memory; OpenShell governs access to files, networks and credentials. This separates agent behavior from enforcement around it, but the repository labels NemoClaw an alpha project rather than a finished production security guarantee.

Why it matters
Engineers can assess the agent’s control loop and the surrounding enforcement layer as distinct parts of a deployment.
More context
The October 30 guide covers OpenClaw, Hermes and LangChain Deep Agents. Choose the matching blueprint and review platform prerequisites; the documented primary setup uses a container runtime and configured inference. Begin with a nonsensitive task and inspect its network policy and traces.
Keep in mind
Alpha software and harness integrations can change. Model, hosting and infrastructure costs remain separate; the vendor’s cost comparisons and policy claims were not independently tested here.
